Richard Bowser, 83, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away May 2, 2023. He was born September 5, 1939 in Hammansburg, Ohio to the late Bernie and Francis (Slaughterbeck) Bowser. He married Carol Youngpeter on September 25, 1959 and she survives in Bowling Green.
Richard was a 1957 graduate of Bowling Green High School. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved spending time birdwatching, fishing, mushroom hunting and gardening. He had a special place in his heart for his dog Jackson.
Along with his wife of 63 years Carol, Richard is survived by his daughters Linda (Michael) Schoenitz, Pamela (Alan) Potter and Carolyn Jordan, 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 5 brothers and 4 sisters.
Services for Richard will be private for the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Dunn Funeral Home in Bowling Green.
Memorial contributions may be given in his memory to the Wood County Humane Society.
