Richard (Dick) E. Schwind, 82 of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away on Monday December 18, 2023. He was born on February 1, 1941, to the late Richard and Shirley (Dyer) Schwind.
Richard worked as a forklift operator for Libbey-Owens-Ford Glass Company. Richard enjoyed fishing, wood working, hunting and loved to garden. He was an avid Ohio State sports fan.
He is survived by his son Tom (Beth) Schwind of Marysville, Ohio, daughter Tonda (Bob) Davis of Port Richey, Florida, his sisters, Patricia Dewyer of Bowling Green, Ohio, Connie (Kevin) Philo of Dayton, Ohio, Sue (Larry) Hoehn of Tennessee, Shelly Graham of Findlay, Ohio, grandchildren Michael (Amanda) Schwind, Andrew Schwind, Wesley (Hanna) Schwind, Joshua (Maria) Lambert, Maylah (Chris) Glaser, Stephanie Lambert and great-grandchild Autumn Schwind.
Richard is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Jim Schwind.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday December 27, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Dunn Funeral Home located in the Historical District of Bowling Green, at 408 W. Wooster St. His funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Michael Schwind will officiate. Burial will follow at Wood County Memory Gardens.
