Rick was born to Howard and Shirley (Schooner) in Bowling Green, Ohio.
He married Lagina “Gina” (Neifer) Peterson on March 8, 2005 in Las Vegas, and she survives him in Bowling Green.
Rick along with his wife Gina owned and operated Peterson Electric Company, LLC in Bowling Green, Ohio for the past 11 years and he was proud to be part of the electrical trade since he was 16 years old. Rick was a Life Member of the Bowling Green Amvets Post 711 and was an avid football fan who loved cheering for the Cleveland Browns and the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Along with his wife: Gina, Rick is survived by his father: Howard Peterson of North Baltimore, Ohio; mother: Shirley Schooner of Bowling Green, Ohio; daughters: Shellie Peterson of Tennessee; Kristie Bauman of Toledo, Ohio; Monica Peterson of Florida; Destinie Peterson of Toledo, Ohio; sons: Eric Peterson of Florida; Ricky Peterson II of West Virginia; Joshua Earl of Dayton, Ohio; Cory (Emily) Earl of Dayton, Ohio; Derek (Kelsey) Earl of Columbus, Ohio; Jordan Jeffers of Bowling Green, Ohio; 18 grandchildren; brothers: Dennis (Darla) Peterson of Findlay, Ohio; Mark (Lori) Peterson of Findlay, Ohio; and Craig Peterson of Rudolph, Ohio.
Rick was preceded in death by his daughter: Kim Peterson and a brother: Howard Peterson Jr.
Services for Rick will be private for his family, and will be held at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted with the Deck-Hanneman Funeral Home & Crematory, 1460 W. Wooster St./P.O. Box 648, Bowling Green, Ohio, 43402.
