Rick L. Snyder, 71, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away November 2, 2024. He was born July 8, 1953 in Bowling Green to the late Andrew Russell and Irene (Avery) Snyder.
Rick was a jack of all trades and always willing to lend a helping hand. He Enjoyed working with his uncle Arlyn. He loved watching his kids show horses just like he did as a kid. When his children were growing up, he was a Wood County 4-H advisor. Rick loved camping, traveling and hunting. He was an excellent cook and loved spending time with his family for the holidays. He adored his beloved dog Popeye who went everywhere he did.
He is survived by his children Melanie (Justin) Grover of Maumee, Ohio and Andrew (Jamie) Snyder of Findlay, Ohio and grandchildren Rex, Hannah and Delilah.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday November 6, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Peinert-Dunn Funeral Home, 18620 Washington St. Tontogany, Ohio 43565. His funeral service will be held on Thursday November 7, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Union Hill Cemetery in Bowling Green. Additional visitation will be held Thursday morning at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m.
Memorial contributions may be given in his memory to Wood County 4-H.
