A road construction worker was killed Wednesday afternoon on U.S. 24 near Fallen Timbers.
According to the Ohio State Patrol, a 2007 Ford 500, driven by Michael Massucci of Waterville, age 34, was eastbound on Route 24. A 2013 Chevrolet 2500 construction truck owned by Gerken Paving was parked on the right side of Route 24. The driver, Nathan Soto of Napoleon, age 42 was outside of the vehicle.
Massucci changed lanes from the left to the right, and reportedly struck Soto. Soto was pronounced deceased on scene. Massucci was not injured.
The crash remains under investigation.
