Robert A. Emch, 80, of Bowling Green, passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at Bridge Hospice in Bowling Green. He was born in Toledo, Ohio, on May 12, 1942, to Earl P. and Dorothy J. (Brinkmeier) Emch. He was a member of the Woodmore High School Graduating Class of 1960. He married the love of his life, Gloria Jean Rahe “Jean” on April 12, 1960. Bob and Jean adopted and raised 1 daughter and have celebrated almost 63 years of marriage together.
In addition to being a lifelong farmer, Bob also worked at a service plaza on the Ohio State Turnpike and drove school bus for Woodmore Schools for a number of years. One of the best days of Bob’s life was teaming up with his dad and going into farming full-time.
Bob and Jean were members of the P.T. Cruiser Club in Bowling Green, where they met many friends and took many wonderful trips together. With many joys in his life, it was Jeanne that remained Bob’s greatest love and joy.
In addition to wife Jean, Bob is survived by his adopted daughter, Dawn. Dear friends and caregivers: Peggy Brigham of Bowling Green, and Daniel (Nancy) Lembke of Pemberville, as well as numerous cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends and family will be received from 10-11 a.m., with a Funeral Service at 11 a.m., Monday, March 20, 2023, at Marsh & Marsteller Funeral Home, 110 West Main Street, Luckey, Ohio. Officiating will be, Pr. Leroy Sholey. Interment will be in Westwood Cemetery, Woodville, Ohio.
