Robert Irvin McAfee, 75, of Bowling Green passed away on October 13, 2022. He was born on April 6, 1947 to the late Russel and Eileen (Hoffheins) McAfee. He married Cynthia (Louys) McAfee on September 27, 1970 and she survives him.
He is also survived by his children: Christina (Larry) Nelson; Tony (Katrina) McAfee; Rob McAfee; and Faith McAfee; 20 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren and a sister, Virginia Braham; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
Robert served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He worked for the Village of Weston in water and sewer department for 20 years. He earned a bachelors degree in ministerial studies from Indiana Wesleyan University. He was very active at and very much enjoyed the Wood County Senior Center. He enjoyed water color painting and writing short stories. Once a month he published “Glory Road” his Christian news letter. Above all he loved his family and would do anything for them.
Contribution in his honor may be gifted to the family to help with funeral expenses.
A Celebration of Life service for Robert will be held on October 22, 2022 at Christ Church 14455 Campbell Hill Rd, Bowling Green, OH 43402 at 12:00 noon.
