Rocks and bricks used to bust windows out of 5 vehicles in BG

Bowling Green Police Division responded to five locations on Saturday where vehicle windows had been smashed by bricks or rocks overnight.

  • In the 300 block of Buttonwood Avenue, an unknown person threw two bricks at a Jeep parked on the street. The rear driver’s side window was shattered and the top of the Jeep was damaged.
  • In the 300 block of South Mercer Road, the driver’s side front window of a Chevy Silverado was smashed out. A large rock was found inside the front cab of the vehicle.
  • In the 300 block of Campbell Hill Road, someone threw a rock through the rear window of a Dodge Charger.
  • In a parking lot in the 1600 block of Juniper Court, the rear window of a Dodge Charger was broken out. A large rock was found on the front passenger floor board.
  • In the 300 block of Manville Avenue, the front windshield of a Subaru was smashed out by a brick.
