Rollan L ‘Junie’ Emch

Rolland L. Emch Jr., better known as “Junie” age 83, of Bowling Green and formerly of Perrysburg, OH passed away on Monday, June 18, 2018 at the Bowling Green Manor, Bowling Green, OH. He was born on April 11, 1935 in Perrysburg to Rolland L. and Irene (Carter) Emch Sr. Rolland married Donna L. Caldwell on March 20, 1955 in Angola, IN. Rolland and Donna raised 5 children and celebrated 48 years of marriage before Donna preceded him in death in July of 2003. In addition to being a lifelong farmer, Junie worked at Libbey-Owens-Ford as a glassworker, retiring after working more than 30 years. His children noted what a hard worker and strong work ethic their dad had with an equally strong love of farming. He was a stern father with an immense devotion to his family especially his grand and great-grandchildren.

Junie is survived by his children: Cindy (Joe) Stockwell of Rudolph, OH, Randi (Dan) McNamee of KS, Rick (Kathryn) Emch of Pemberville, OH, Mike (Patti) Emch of Bowling Green, OH, Scott (Cindy) Emch of Port Clinton, OH, 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren with 2 on the way and a sister: Shirley (Jimmy) Wilford of Bowling Green, OH. In addition to his wife: Donna, he was preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter: Stephanie.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 23, 2018 at the Marsh & Marsteller Funeral Home, 110 W. Main Street, Luckey, OH, where funeral services will be conducted at 11 AM. There will be a time of visitation from 9 a.m. until time of service. Officiating will be Rev. Timothy P. Philabaum. Interment will be in New Belleville Ridge Cemetery, Dowling, OH. Memorials may take the form of contributions to the: Wood County Fair Foundation, American Heart Association or The American Cancer Society.
