Rose Baney

Rose M. Baney, 76, of North Baltimore, Ohio passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2019.

Rose was born in Fostoria, Ohio to the late Floyd and Helen (Strausbaugh). She married Ronald E. Baney on July 1, 1989 in Findlay, Ohio and he survives in North Baltimore. Rose is also survived her children: Angie Teeple of Bradner and Richard “Skip” (Kathy) Teeple of Bowling Green; grandchildren: Andrew Nonnemaker, Brian Teeple and Kyle, Nathan and Megan DuBois; step-sons: Jeffrey Baney of Tiffin, Ronald Baney of Ada and Heath Baney of Findlay. She was preceded in death by her sister Janette Hoffman and brother Donnie Hoffman.

Rose attended Fostoria High School and worked at Bowling Green State University in the Student Union. Retiring after 30 years of service. Rose had an artistic ability to her that was matched by none. She had a passion for cooking, especially cakes and pies, and loved having family over for the holidays. Some of Rose’s hobbies included gardening, and being outdoors. She had a love for animals, especially, birds, cats, dogs and fish. Rose was a sweet and thoughtful lady, she was always pleasant to those she came in contact with and had a million dollar smile. Most of all, the most important part of Rose’s life was her family.

Visitation for Rose will be on Monday, April 1, 2019 from 11:00 until the time of her Celebration of Life Service at 2:00 PM in the HARTLEY-HANNEMAN FUNERAL HOME, 370 Park Dr S., McComb, Ohio 45858. Interment will follow in the McComb Union Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be gifted in Rose’s honor to the Alzheimer’s Association, 1800 N. Blanchard St., Suite 10, Findlay, Ohio 45858.
