Rose J. Richardson, 68 of Portage, Ohio passed away September 30, 2020. She was born November 5, 1951 in Wellington, Ohio to Harold and Dora (Anderson) Scyoc. She married Duane R. Richardson on February 3, 1973 and he preceded her in death July 4, 1991.
Rose worked for Bowling Green City Schools in the school cafeterias and she worked for the Wood County Child Support Agency. She was a member of the Lion’s Club. Her greatest joy in life came from the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren whom she adored.
She is survived by her children Shane Richardson of Portage, Ohio, Shawn (Melissa) Richardson of Arizona, Stacy Richardson of Bowling Green, Ohio and Stephanie Richardson of Bowling Green, Ohio, 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers Harold of Wellington, Ohio, Bill of Colorado, Tom of Wellington, Ohio and Dan of Wellington, Ohio and sisters Frances of Wellington, Ohio and Alice of Wellington, Ohio.
A private graveside service will be held at Webster Township Cemetery. A public Celebration of her Life will be held next Spring. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Dunn Funeral Home, located in the Historical District of Bowling Green at 408 West Wooster St.
