Ruth Evelyn Bressler, age 84 of Bowling Green went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at Bridge Hospice Care Center.
Ruth was born September 2, 1932 in Sykesville, Pennsylvania to William and Anne Margaret McKeever. She is survived by her family: husband of 59 years, Thomas A. Bressler, her four children; Scot, Ann, Amy and Joy, along with her brother Charles and sister Lois. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Bill and Paul McKeever and sister Margaret Server.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Bowling Green where her father was a minister. Ruth enjoyed spending time with family and friends as well as attending church services and activities.
Visitation will be held on Friday April 28, 2017 from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Dunn Funeral Home, located in the Historical District of Bowling Green at 408 West Wooster Street. Her funeral service will be held on Saturday April 29, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, 749 S. Wintergarden Rd. in Bowling Green. Rev. David Fath and Pastor Tom Mullins will officiate. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Bowling Green. Additional visitation will be held on Saturday morning at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m.
