Ruth E. Minning, age 89, of Perrysburg, OH passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at the Manor at Perrysburg, Perrysburg, OH. She was born on November 9, 1926 in Millbury, OH to Earl and Alta (Reitzel) Bauman. On December 1, 1949 she married Paul E. Minning in Stony Ridge, OH and he preceded her in death on July 20, 2000. Ruth was a homemaker and a life long member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Stony Ridge, OH. In her spare time she enjoyed playing cards with her cousins and water walking at the YMCA with her friends.
Ruth is survived by her sons: Blair (Kathy) Minning of Portage and William (Sharon) Minning of Perrysburg, grandsons: Tim Minning of Walbridge and Jim (Katie) Minning of Millbury, great grandchildren: Logan and Hannah Minning of Millbury and sister: Elva (William) Ault of Perrysburg. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Paul and daughter-in-law: Margaret Minning.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday, April 24, 2016 from 5-8 PM at the Marsh Funeral Home, 110 Main Street, Luckey, OH. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, April 25, 2016 at 12 Noon at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Stony Ridge, OH with additional visitation from 11 AM until time of services. Officiating will be Rev. Daniel Beaudoin. Interment will be in Troy Twp. Cemetery, Luckey, OH. A bereavement luncheon will be served at the church immediately following the cemetery committal services.
