Sharon A. (Philo) Dimon, 81, of Perrysburg, OH formerly of Bowling Green, OH passed away June 27, 2024 at the Commons in Perrysburg, OH.
Sharon was born on September 8, 1942 in Bowling Green, OH to Robert and Alma (Miller) Philo. She married Robert Dimon Jr. on September 24, 1960 who preceded her in death on June 13, 2017.
She graduated from Bowling Green High School and was a resident of Bowling Green Ohio for many years. Sharon worked for Foodtown grocery store for 30 years and retired in 2002. Sharon joined the First Presbyterian Church in Bowling Green in 2012 and enjoyed her new congregation. She volunteered for various activities and made many new friendships. After retirement she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved to go camping with her husband and grandchildren, dancing to her favorite 50’s songs, swimming, shopping, the outdoors and watching her grandchildren play sports. Some of her favorite memories were of vacations with her sister Vicky and her longtime friends. She will be remembered as a sweet, caring, kind and loving person who always had a beautiful smile for everyone.
Sharon is survived by her children: Debra (James) Karmol, Rick (Michelle) Dimon, Robert (Chris) Dimon III; her sister Vicky (Dennis) Smith; her grandchildren: Corey (Tara) Dimon, Stephanie Dimon, Ana and Ella Karmol; great-grandchildren Rayden, Adelynn, Olivia, Braxton and Ava.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert Dimon Jr. and her brother Robert Philo.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2024 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with memorial service immediately after with luncheon to follow at First Presbyterian Church, 126 S. Church Street, Bowling Green, OH.
