Sheriff’s Office investigating crash west of BG

The Wood County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a two-vehicle injury traffic crash that took place Thursday on U.S. 6 at Ohio 235 in Weston Township, west of Bowling Green.

Kenneth Seeley, 49, of Weston, was traveling northbound on Route 235 when he reportedly failed to yield at the stop sign at Route 6. Seeley’s vehicle was then struck by a car driven by Sarah Suber, 33, of Deshler, who was traveling eastbound on Route 6. Seeley’s vehicle then traveled off the right side of the road, where it caught fire.

Seeley was transported to Wood County Hospital by Weston EMS, then Mercy St. Vincent by Life Flight. Suber was transported to Wood County Hospital by Northwest 190 EMS, and was later treated and released.

The crash remains under investigation by the sheriff’s office.
