The Wood County Sheriff’s Office is investigating several reports of thefts from unlocked vehicles. The incidents have primarily occurred in Webster, Freedom and Troy townships, during the nighttime hours.
The Wood County Sheriff’s Office is asking that people lock their vehicles, don’t leave valuables or money in vehicles particularly in plain sight, and report any suspicious activity to the Wood County Sheriff’s Office at 419-354-9001.
The incidents remain under investigation.
