Shirley Ann Cron, 79, formerly of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away April 8, 2024. She was born September 1, 1944 in Deshler, Ohio to the late Stanley and Bertha (Baer) Engle. She married Paul Cron and he preceded her in death.
Shirley was a member of the AMVETS #711, Eagles 2180 and VFW #1148. She enjoyed singing karaoke, knitting and fishing with her late husband Paul. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed making meals from scratch. Her greatest joy came from the time she spent with her family and friends.
She is survived by her sons Curtis (Cindy) Borders of London, Ohio and Michael (Geri) Borders of Columbus Ohio, step-children Kevin Cron, Christine Cron and Brian Cron, 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Paul and sisters Jane Sloan and June Launder.
Her funeral service will be held on Monday April 15, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Dunn Funeral Home, located in the Historical District of Bowling Green at 408 W. Wooster St. Interment will follow at Wood County Memory Gardens in Bowling Green. Visitation will be held on Monday morning at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m.
