Shirley Ann Freeworth, 73, of Bowling Green, passed away on October 4, 2017. She was born on July 16, 1944 in Lucas County to Howard and Anna (Jacobs) McMahan. Shirley married James L. Freeworth on September 18, 1962 and he survives. Also surviving are her sons, James and Bill (Debbie) both of Bowling Green, brother, Robert McMahan and sister, Jean Hopple, both of Jerry City, three grandchildren, Patrick, Paige and Grahm Freeworth and her French bulldog, Mimi.
Shirley worked for many years as head cook for food services at Bowling Green State University. She enjoyed cooking and dearly loved her grandchildren.
Private family services are being held at Dunn Funeral Home, Bowling Green with Pastor Susan Kronbach, officiating followed by interment at Wood County Memory Gardens.
