The Bowling Green High School Drama Club has two events this week.
Festival of Shorts
The BGHS Drama Club is hosting the 19th annual spring “Festival of the Arts” Wednesday, March 20 in the Performing Arts Center at 7 PM. Tickets are $5 for students and $7 for adults.
Student producers Cole Nemeth, Hailey Kozey and Thomas Long have rallied a cast of 16 performers for the event. Performers include Narnia Rieske, Cole Nemeth, Kerica Bucks, Jayla Parker, Alexandra Meade and Kayleigh Zeigler, Isaac Douglass, Adam Johnson, EllieKnape, Maddy Depinet, Emma and Kenzie Matney, Bob Walters, Dylan Perez and ThomasLong, M. Clifford, the BGHS Guitar Club led by Senor Dallas Black, and the BGHS ImprovTroupe. Master of Ceremonies is Erik Schempf and stage manager is Oliva Strang.
Preceding the ticketed event, from 5:30-7 p.m. is a free art show in the PAC lobby featuring the work of students enrolled in BGHS art classes.
“A Comedy of Errors” encore
The BGHS Drama Club is presenting an encore performance of their fall play “A Comedy of Errors” on Sunday, March 24 at 3 p.m. in the
The cast and crew was selected to perform the the play as a Featured Main Stager production at the Ohio Thespian Conference next weekend.
The performance is free. Donations to support students’ conference fees will be happily accepted.
