The Wood County Emergency Management Agency has issued the following advisory:
Scattered severe thunderstorms remain possible in northern OH and NW PA this Saturday afternoon through evening. The forecast confidence is low regarding the severe storms because there is some uncertainty regarding the amount of daytime heating that will take place tomorrow and how much instability will result from that.
- All of NW PA and most of northern OH are in a slight risk (level 2 of 5) of severe thunderstorms
- All of Wood County is in the slight risk (2/5) and most of Lucas County, OH remains in a marginal risk (level 1 of 5) of severe thunderstorms
- Tornado potential has increased, especially south of I-90 and east of I-71
- All of NW PA and most of northern OH are in a marginal or slight risk of flash flooding
