The Wood County Emergency Management Agency has issued the following advisory:
A chance of snow is expected to begin around 2 a.m. tonight continuing through Friday evening.
For Wood County, most areas will see 1-2 inches, but localized snowfall could be up to 3 inches. Temperatures will remain in the upper teens to low 20s with wind speeds decreasing and with the wind chill near 10 degrees Fahrenheit.
Timing for the heaviest snowfall periods will occur during the morning commute on both Thursday and Friday.
On Friday, the area from Sandusky east to the Pennsylvania state line has the potential for 4 inches or higher due to increased lake effect snow.
