The public is invited to an open house at the South East Ambulance District station on Feb. 23, from 2 to 5 p.m.
The newly-formed ambulance district provides 24-hour emergency medical services to the villages of Bradner, Wayne, and Risingsun and surrounding Montgomery Township.
The open house, at 1968 Mermill Road near Bradner, will allow citizens to check out the new station, look at the ambulances, meet the employees, and have snacks.
The new ambulance district opened on Dec. 31, 2019. The EMS has about 20 employees.
