State Senator Theresa Gavarone, R-Bowling Green, on Wednesday presented a Senate resolution to Tara Barnhart of the Bowling Green Dispatch Center. Tara was recently recognized as the 2018 Dispatcher of the Year by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
“After only speaking with Tara for a few minutes, it becomes immediately apparent how passionate she is about her job and getting assistance to the people who need it most,” said Gavarone. “I commend her outstanding work in this very difficult and stressful position, and we are lucky to have such amazing people on the other end of a 9-1-1 call to help us.”
“I just want to say thank you to the Ohio Senate and everyone who has supported me over the last 13 years. Thank you for having me and it was an honor to be here today,” said Barnhart.
