Steven “Rocky” Rothenbuhler, age 70, of Bowling Green, OH passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at Bowling Green Manor in Bowling Green. He was born on September 19, 1951 in Perrysburg, OH to Harvey and Shirley (Frizzell) Rothenbuhler. He was a member of the 1969 Graduating Class of Eastwood High School. On July 31, 1995 he married Karen Price in Findlay, OH. Rocky and Karen would celebrate 26 years of marriage together.
Rocky worked as a Class AA Journeyman / Diesel Mechanic for Martin Marietta 25 plus years. He was a 5th generation farmer having farmed the family homestead. In addition, Rocky was a member and past vice president of the Luckey Fall Festival Tractor Pullers. Rocky became limited in his physical abilities following an ATV accident. However, he began to display his appreciation and talents in other areas. He would become a talented weather spotter and was a member of Skyworn.
In addition to his wife Karen, Rocky is survived by his daughter: Trisha Yoast and grandchildren: Autumn Yoast, Bethany Yoast and Donald Yoast. His Chosen family: Zach (Tara) Sarver, Rusty (Kylee) Sarver and Pat (Sam) Sarver. He was preceded in death by his parents, and close friend, Buzz and k-9 pal Red.
Family and friends will be received from 10:30-11:30 a.m., Monday, October 25, 2021 at Marsh & Marsteller Funeral Home, 110 West Main Street, Luckey. Rocky will then then be taken in procession and laid to rest next to his parents in Webster Township Cemetery, Scotch Ridge.
