Stone Justin Foltz, age 20 of Delaware, OH passed away, Sunday, March 7, 2021, after giving the gift of life as an organ and tissue donor.
A sophomore member of the College of Business at Bowling Green State University, Stone was born on November 21, 2000, in Westerville, OH to loving parents Cory and Shari (Williams) Foltz.
A 2019 graduate of Buckeye Valley High School, Stone was actively involved in playing baseball, basketball, and lacrosse. He was also actively involved in intramural football and basketball at Bowling Green State University.
Stone was also a devoted Ohio State Buckeye Football fan and would follow the team both on and off the field. He loved sharing highlights of great game plays as well as when the player did something special for someone else off the field. Stone cared deeply for his family and would always seek opportunities to spend time with them and loved watching “Buckeye” football with his whole family around him. Stone also enjoyed the outdoors and if there was a body of water nearby, even better. His long-term life plans and hopes had him living near the water where he could be on the beach and in the sunshine.
Stone had a passion for finding that person in life that demonstrated how to be a kinder and gentler person. Stone’s compassion for people and love for his family drove him to be a better version of himself every day. He was always one of those guys that stood up for others when they didn’t have the strength themselves. Stone found an inner strength to always try to do the right thing.
In addition to his parents, he is also survived by his brother AJ (Alec) and sister Jersee, grandparents: Geraldine and Frank Foltz of Cardington, Ohio, Rosanna and Duane Williams of Fostoria, Ohio, aunts: DJ Williams and Sandy Brown, uncles: Frank Foltz Jr., Rodney Foltz, Rodney Williams, Aaron Williams, and many cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Franklin and Enola Foltz, Ralph and Elizabeth Ruggles, John and Marcella Williams, Vincent and Delores Tiell, and his best friend, Jake Richardson.
Services were held March 13 at the Grace Powell Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center in Delaware.
