Trees and power lines are down throughout Bowling Green causing widespread power outages. That outages, the city reports, could last “for an extended period.”
Residents are advised to watch for and avoid downed lines.
The damage came when a sudden storm with bursts of high winds ripped through the city.
Multiple large tree limbs were down in the central quadrangle on the Bowling Green State University campus.
