In conjunction with the Firefly Nights Festival scheduled for June 21, certain street closures and parking restrictions will be imposed in downtown Bowling Green.
On-street parking will be prohibited on North Main, from Court to Wooster streets, beginning at 1 p.m. on Friday. Parking restrictions will go into effect at 2 p.m. on South Main, from Wooster to Clough streets.
North Main, from Court to Wooster, will close to traffic at 3 p.m. At 4 p.m., South Main Street, between Wooster and Clough, will be closed to traffic. Wooster Street will remain open for east and westbound traffic throughout the festival.
During the Main Street closure, detour routes for local and truck traffic will be posted. All streets will reopen and parking will be reinstated on Friday following the event.
