Music at the Market

The Music at the Market concert series returns to downtown Perrysburg on Thursday, June 5, kicking off a summer of free live music under the stars. The series runs every Thursday evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m., June through August, on the Commodore Schoolyard lawn at 140 E. Indiana Avenue—right in the heart of the DORA District and in conjunction with the Perrysburg Farmers Market.

The 2025 season opens with a high-energy performance by The Madison Avenue Band, a dynamic nine-piece ensemble known for crowd-pleasing favorites, upbeat rhythms, and showmanship.

Concertgoers are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket and settle in for a rotating lineup of talented regional performers spanning a wide range of musical genres. Whether grabbing dinner from a local vendor or enjoying a picnic from home, the setting invites visitors to relax and enjoy the evening.

Wednesday at Woodlands

Wednesday at Woodlands lunchtime series opens Wednesday, June 4 from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.  Concerts are held in the shelter area at 429 E. Boundary Street inPerrysburg, this free concert is the first of the weekly summer series.  Jake Pilewski and Friends, are top tier musicians and will perform a mix of popular cover tunes and original music.

Jake Pilewski, is a driving force in the area music scene. Known for his wide-ranging vocal talent and genre-spanning performances, Pilewski is as comfortable covering classics on request as he is delivering original compositions. He composed Perrysburg’s official Bicentennial song in 2016, launched multiple original music showcases, and supports local musicians through performance and mentorship. This summer, Jake is also providing sound support for the entire concert series through August.  

Joining Pilewski for the kickoff concert are two of the area’s most respected and sought-after musicians: Isaac Snyder, whose acoustic guitar mastery is showcased in his Bluegrass Sunday Facebook series, is known for his expressive style and technical brilliance across a range of genres. He is a sought-after guitarist by area bands and widely recognized for his work in numerous bands, duos, and solo performances.  Jon B. Roth is a gifted singer-songwriter and genre-bending guitarist.  He can be seen leading his own bands Jon B. Roth and the Fun on the Side as well as Live Roots.  Snyder and Roth regularly perform with Pilewski in the wildly popular band The DayDrinkers, a crowd favorite with the only once a month daytime slot at the Village Idiot.

Together, the trio will deliver a dynamic, engaging performance that makes Wednesday at Woodlands a perfect midweek pick-me-up. Picnic tables are available for those having lunch, others are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket.  

The Wednesday at Woodlands concert series runs every Wednesday, June through August, and is made possible through the support of the City of Perrysburg and the Norma Stark Memory Garden and Labyrinth.
