Survey seeks input on regional workforce and economic development

Area residents’ views are being sought on how to develop the regional economy and workforce.

The Center for Regional Development (CRD) at Bowling Green State University, Lucas County, Wood County, Ottawa County, City of Toledo, the Lucas County Port Authority, the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce, Regional Growth Partnership, and the Greater Toledo Community Foundation have partnered to update the region’s Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS). The CEDS is a five-year strategic plan that guides and prioritizes the region’s economic and workforce development efforts while providing a roadmap for federal, state, and private investment in our region.

The Strategy Committee designed a survey to gather public input on the goals and strategies that will comprise the CEDS. Each question will ask your agreement with the goals (highest level) and objectives (high-level) developed by the Toledo Region CEDS Strategy Committee. The answers will be confidential and will be analyzed in aggregate to inform the development of the regional CEDS.
