Tanya Sue Beard, 47 of Pemberville, OH passed away at home on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 with her family near her side. She was born Tanya Sue Martin on June 12, 1976 to Ronald and Laurel (Evans) Martin in Oregon, OH. She became a 1994 graduate of Eastwood High School. She would later receive a Bachelors Degree from Bowling Green State University, a Masters Degree from the University of Toledo, and her PhD from Duquesne University in PA. On June 27, 2008 she married Aaron David Beard in Perrysburg, OH. Tanya and Aaron have celebrated over 15 years of marriage.
In addition to being a homemaker, taking care of 4 children, a husband, and her home, she was also presently a Nurse Coordinator for University of Toledo Medical Center. Tanya was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Luckey. She enjoyed reading, singing karaoke, dancing, and listening to all types of music. Outside of being a nurse, her greatest love was spending time with her family, especially her children.
In addition to her husband Aaron, Tanya is survived by her children. Stepdaughter, Cira Beard, daughters: Bailey Beard, Victoria Beard and son, Joshua Beard. Mother, Laurel Martin of Pemberville and father, Ronald (Sally) Martin of NV. Paternal siblings: Paula, Gregory, Kandus, and Kristina. Uncle, Robin Evans, numerous nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
Family and friends will be received 9-11 a.m., with a Memorial Service at 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at Marsh & Marsteller Funeral Home, 110 W. Main Street, Luckey, OH. Officiating will be, Pr. Peter Johnston.
