Thomas R. Wallace, 79, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away August 1, 2019. He was born September 7, 1939 in Alliance, Ohio to Olen and Ana (Davis) Wallace. He married Joyce (Griffiths) on October 10, 1959 and she survives in Bowling Green.
Tom was the supervisor of ice and building maintenance at the Bowling Green Ice Arena for nearly 30 years. He was a perfectionist and always kept the ice arena equipment and facility in mint condition. He was an extremely hard worker, often maintaining two jobs. He enjoyed spending time with his family and traveling with his wife, Joyce. His greatest joy in life came from the time he spent with his grandchildren, never missing any of their sporting events.
Along with his wife of nearly 60 years, Joyce, Tom is survived by his children Mark (Judi) Wallace of Cleveland, Tennessee and Lori (Brian) Rock of Big Rapids, Michigan, grandchildren Kirsten (Christopher) Finder, Nathan (Amy) Rock and T.K. (Megan) Rock, and great-grandson Kyle Rock. He is also survived by his sisters Shirley Kitzmiller, Margaret (Richard) Loudon, Mary Lou (Charles) Plavka and Ida (Scott) Ingledue and brother Sam Wallace.
Services for Tom will be private for the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Dunn Funeral Home in Bowling Green.
