Thomas (Tom) Deck of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away on July 26, 2018, at the age of 76.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Patricia (Pat); his three children, Teresa (Russell) DeSpain of Mount Vernon, Kentucky; Michael (Holly) Deck of Bowling Green; and Randy (Jodi) Deck of Joshua, Texas; his mother Katherine; and sisters: Linda Wilson & Bev Esselburn. He had six grandchildren – Aaron, Troy, Madison, Ethan, John, and Peyton. Tom was preceded in death by his father and three brothers.
Tom retired from the Bowling Green City Schools in 2005 after working as a custodian at Kenwood School. He was honored for his service by having a Mr. Deck Day declared and he received a key to the city. All who knew Tom knew he loved his wife, his family, his country, and his team – the Michigan Wolverines.
Visitation for Tom will be held on Monday, July 30, 2018 from 11:00 AM until the time of his funeral service at 12:00 PM in the DECK-HANNEMAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1460 W. Wooster St./P.O. Box 648, Bowling Green, Ohio 43402. Tele: 419-352-2171. Interment will immediately follow in Union Hill Cemetery, Bowling Green, Ohio.
