From GAS DISC GOLF
GAS Disc Golf will hold its first fundraising event Saturday, Aug. 7, from 4-8 p.m. at Mary Jane Thurston State Park.
Money raised through Thirstin’ @ Mary Jane will be used to develop a new disc golf course in at the park in 2022.
The event will feature five local breweries – Wild Side, Maumee Bay, Funky Turtle, Quenched and Tempered, and Patron Saints – and food from Weenie Dawgs. The breweries and food will be serving from 4-8p.m.
There will be five temporary disc golf holes set up from 3-6 p.m. to showcase some of the holes we are planning to put in the ground along with promoting the sport to more. Members from GAS Disc Golf will be at the course to assist new players as needed and answer questions about the Club.
Tickets are $25 online – click to purchase – or $30 at the gate.
GAS Disc Golf is a non-profit founded earlier this year to promote disc golf in the community.
