Timothy Ernest Szabo, 55, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away Thursday, August 11, 2016 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center. He was born October 8, 1960 in Bowling Green to Ernest and Mary Lou (Gibson) Szabo. Tim attended St. Aloysius Catholic School through eighth grade. He was a 1979 graduate of Bowling Green High School and attended BGSU. After several years of college he decided to follow his dreams and moved to California to pursue an acting career. He was in the movie “Return of The Killer Tomatoes”. Tim moved back to Bowling Green to help manage his parents business, Ernie’s Auto/E & M Recycling. Tim was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church. He loved interacting with his nieces and nephews. He also enjoyed bowling and playing guitar with his friends. Most of all Tim loved helping people. He always would do “small things with great love”. Surviving are his mother, Mary Lou; brothers, Jeffrey (Diana) of BG, Michael of Dublin, OH, and Donald of BG; sisters, Mary Ann (Craig) Mason of Findlay, Kathy (Jim) Starek of Strongsville, OH and Donna Jean Szabo of West Covina, CA. His father Ernie preceded him in death in 2014.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 16th beginning at 11:00am at St. Aloysius Church with Father Mark Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to visitation on Monday from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at the Dunn Funeral Home located in Bowling Green’s Historical District at 408 W.
