Todd M Lashuay

Todd Lashuay, age 51 of Bowling Green Oh, was called home into the arms of our Lord on April 5, 2017 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center. Todd was born June 23, 1965 in Bowling Green to Howard and Carol (Farkas) Lashuay. He was preceded in death by Grandparents Michael and Theresa Farkas and Dale and Florence Lashuay, and by many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. Todd was a 1985 BGHS graduate. He worked a variety of jobs over the years including North Grove Carry- Out, Wood Lane and most recently BG City Schools. He held Certifications as a phlebotomist and Medical Assistant. He was an active member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church where he enjoyed serving God and the Parish as an Extraordinary Minster of Holy Communion and RCIA Team member. Among his many hobbies and interests he enjoyed were gardening, cooking, crafting, antiques, target shooting and fixing any item that wasn’t necessarily in need of repair. He was a homebody and enjoyed being close to home and his family.

Todd is survived by his parents Carol Lashuay of Bowling Green, and Howard Lashuay of Weston OH, Sister Denise Lashuay of Rudolph OH, Nephew Shawn Fulford of Bowling Green, and by his best friend and life companion Daniel Powell of Bowling Green. Todd will greatly miss sharing time with his 4 legged family (Bela, Zoie and CC). Todd leaves behind numerous friends whose lives are impacted for the good due to Todd’s caring words and actions. Visitation will be on Monday, April 10th from 4 to 7 p.m. at Dunn Funeral home, 408 W. Wooster St in Bowling Green OH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 beginning at 11:00 a.m. at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Bowling Green OH, Father Mark Davis officiating. The family also will receive friends one hour before service time at the church. A celebration of life luncheon will immediately follow the funeral service at the church. A private interment service for the family will be at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Bowling Green OH, at a later date. Donations in memory can be made to St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Bowling Green OH or the Wood County Humane Society.
