Two Bowling Green residents were charged with burglary after reportedly breaking into a home and stealing a Play Station game console and control.
Amarius Gates, 20, and Kailee Artis, 20, both of Bowling Green, were arrested for burglary. Gates was also charged with trying to falsify his identity to police.
Bowling Green Police Division received a call on Saturday at 12:44 a.m. from a resident in the 200 block of Troup Avenue. The resident was not home at the time, but a home alarm system had notified the person of the break-in, according to Lt. Dan Mancuso.
When police arrived at the home, they reportedly saw Gates and Artis running out the back door. The two were taken to the Wood County jail.
