Two Bowling Green residents reported their catalytic converters being stolen on Friday, April 7. Both were parked at an apartment complex in the 2000 block of East Napoleon Road, and both were older Ford Escape vehicles.
Bowling Green Police received reports from the two people who noticed the catalytic converters were stolen when they started up their vehicles and they made loud noises.
Police reported clean cuts on both ends where the catalytic converters should have been.
The approximate value of one of the catalytic converters is $800.
Neighbors were advised to report anything suspicious to the police.
