The Bowling Green American Legion Post 45 and the Paul C. Ladd VFW Post 1148 are planning a Veterans Day Service on Saturday, Nov. 11 at 11 a.m., at the Wood County Courthouse Veterans Plaza.
Colonel (US Army, Retired) Stephen Ledbetter will deliver the keynote address at the Veterans Day Service. The National Anthem will be performed by vocalist Evvie Van Vorhis. Wreaths will be placed by the local veterans’ organizations. A rifle salute will be provided by the 14th Ohio Volunteer Infantry Civil War re-enactors, followed by “Taps” played by Ryan Holley.
A luncheon will follow for all veterans at the VFW Post on South Main Street.
