The starting closure date for the Waterville bridge construction has been moved to June 18, giving some motorists an extra week to take their normal routes across the Maumee River between Wood and Lucas counties, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation. The closure is planned to last an estimated 45 days to allow for the construction of a roundabout on the Wood County side of the bridge, which is also being replaced.
