BG Independent News has been publishing updated COVID-19 numbers every weekday from the Wood County Health Department. Those daily updates will change since the Wood County Health Department is modifying the schedule of the data updates typically published Monday through Friday.
Recent changes to the Ohio Disease Reporting System have made it more difficult to create reports that provide the most accurate data in comparison to the Ohio Department of Health.
Because of this, the health department will now publish data updates on Monday and Thursday afternoons, with the expanded case update typically published on Wednesdays now moving to Thursday.
The next case update will occur on Thursday, Jan. 28.
BG Independent News will publish the updates as they are posted by the health department.
