Bowling Green Police arrested a woman for aggravated menacing after she allegedly pulled a knife on a man Friday (March 14) in the downtown area.
The woman, Hevn Shyver, 18, told police that she and a male had been trying to cross the road in the 200 block of East Wooster Street, when they had to step back on the sidewalk to avoid being hit by a truck.
The driver of the truck circled back and approached the pair in the Circle K parking lot. Shyver told police the driver had rolled up sleeves and squared up to fight the man with her. She reportedly said she pulled her knife and told the driver to leave them alone.
The driver followed the pair to North Main Street, and called 911 to report her threatening with a knife.
