The Wood County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a single-vehicle crash Sunday (June 18) at 1:24 p.m., on Pemberville Road near Ohio 582, in Troy Township.
The crash involved a 2012 Toyota Sienna with a single female operator.
The investigation showed that the Toyota was traveling northbound on Pemberville Road and crossed the center line. The Toyota then entered a ditch where it continued traveling until it struck a concrete culvert head on.
The operator of the Toyota, Megan A. Connin (Wickard) was pronounced deceased at the scene by medical personnel.
Assisting the Wood County Sheriff’s Office on location was Troy Township Fire and EMS, and Pemberville Fire Department. Also assisting at the scene was Frank’s Towing.
The crash remains under investigation.
