A 75-year-old woman upset about a prescription not being ready for pickup reportedly threatened to set off a bomb in Walmart Saturday evening.

Bowling Green Police Division was called by a Walmart customer service employee, who told police the woman had been at Walmart earlier in the day to pick up a prescription, but it was not ready.

The woman reportedly said if the pharmacy was not open when she returned, she was going to “set a bomb off in the store.”

Walmart called to alert police when the woman returned to pick up her prescription.

The woman reportedly told police that she was upset because she had to drive to the store from the west edge of Wood County. She reportedly acknowledged that she did threaten to set off a bomb in the store.

An officer advised that she could be charged with aggravated menacing. However, the Walmart manager asked that a report be made, but that no charges be filed against the woman.
