GFWC Women’s Club of Bowling Green will hold its next monthly meeting on April 2 at First Christian Church, at the corner of Haskins and Poe Road, beginning with social time at 6:30 p.m.
The program for the evening will focus on The Power of A Dress, Re-discovering May Day Celebrations at BGSU. Jennifer Long Morehart, university archivist at BGSU, will present the program, exploring May Day celebrations from the 1920s through the 1960s.
Musical guests for the evening will be from the BGSU Musical Arts Program. A brief business meeting will be held, updating ongoing club projects through the coming months. A proposed slate of officers for 2025 – 2027 will be presented. Further information will be discussed regarding the May 3 annual breakfast, June garage sale, and the annual June picnic.
The designated charity for the evening will be the Brown Bag Food Project. The club will make a donation of $200 to the organization on behalf of members.
