Women’s Club of BG to learn about fire, fall and home safety

GFWC Women’s Club of Bowling Green will meet on Feb. 5 at 7 p.m. at Heritage Georgian Room. The program for the evening is Fire, Fall and Home Safety, presented by Lt. Jim Ritterbach of Bowling Green Fire Division, who will provide information about keeping us safe in our homes.

Music Chair Donna Schmidt will introduce the music for the evening presented by students of BGSU music department. Hostesses for the evening are Jean Blechschmidt, Mary Boone and Lynne Comings. A brief business meeting to update and plan ongoing club projects will follow. Evelyn Bachman and Kay Heffernan will share news about upcoming Garden Group and Literature Group projects.

The designated charity of the evening is H.O.O.V.E.S.; the club will make a $100 donation on behalf of the members towards seeds for a therapy vegetable garden.
