Wood County Commissioner Craig LaHote elected president of CORSA

From WOOD COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OFFICE

Wood County Commissioner Craig LaHote was unanimously elected as the 2025-26 president of the County Risk Sharing Authority (CORSA).

CORSA, established in 1987 as a service program of the County Commissioners Association of Ohio, is a self-insured property and liability pool for county government, insuring over $20 billion of member assets. Currently, 73 out of Ohio’s 88 counties are members.

“It is an honor to be elected to serve as president of CORSA,” LaHote said. “I am grateful for the trust our members and the organization have placed in me, and I look forward to collaborating with the board and our dedicated team as we work together to find ways to continually improve the valuable services we provide to our members.”

Joining LaHote as CORSA officers in 2025-26 are vice president Gary Merrell, Delaware County Commissioner; treasurer Mark Stahl, Ottawa County Commissioner; and secretary Charlie Schilling, Washington County Commissioner.
