Wood County now has 165 confirmed and probable cases of COVID-19, according to the Wednesday, April 29, update from the Wood County Health Department.
Twenty people with the virus in Wood County have died.
According to the updated numbers from the Wood County Health Department, there are 118 confirmed cases in local nursing homes, compared to 57 recorded last week. Of those 118 cases, 92 are residents and 26 are staff.
The following facilities have cases:
- SKLD Perrysburg: 45 residents, 2 staff.
- Kingston Residence of Perrysburg: 28 residents, 13 staff.
- Kingston Rehabilitation of Perrysburg: 1 resident, 0 staff.
- The Manor at Perrysburg: 15 residents, 5 staff.
- Otterbein Perrysburg: 3 residents, 6 staff.
The ODH listing attributes 15 deaths in Wood County nursing homes to COVID-19.
A total of 51 people with the virus in the county are hospitalized.
Those with the virus range in age from 1 to 98, with the median age of 71. Of the 165 cases, 95 are female, 70 are male.
Of the 20 county residents with COVID-19 who have died, nine were females, and 11 were males. Three were in their 60s, seven in their 70s, seven in their 80s, and three in their 90s.
No additional information about the 165 Wood County residents will be provided by the health department in order to protect their privacy.
