Wood County has 342 confirmed and probable COVID-19 cases, according to the Tuesday, June 23, update from the Wood County Health Department. That is an increase of three cases since Monday.
A total of 51 people with the virus in Wood County have died.
Of the 51 who have died, 26 were females, and 25 were males. Seven were in their 60s, 11 in their 70s, 23 in their 80s, and 10 in their 90s.
Of the total 332 cases in Wood County, at least 201 are in long-term care facilities – 128 are residents and 73 are staff. Those numbers from long-term care facilities are updated every Wednesday.
The following facilities have cases, as of June 17:
- SKLD Perrysburg: 49 residents, 7 staff.
- Kingston Residence of Perrysburg: 44 residents, 17 staff.
- Kingston Rehabilitation of Perrysburg: 11 residents, 25 staff.
- The Manor at Perrysburg: 18 residents, 6 staff.
- Otterbein Perrysburg: 4 residents, 14 staff.
- Otterbein Pemberville: 0 residents, 1 staff.
- Heritage Corner Health Care, Bowling Green: 1 resident, 3 staff.
- St. Clare Commons, Perrysburg: 1 resident, 0 staff.
According to the Ohio Department of Health, at least 42 of Wood County’s 51 deaths from COVID-19 have occurred in long-term care facilities.
Of the total 342 cases in the county as of today, those with the virus range in age from 1 to 102, with the median age of 55. Of the local cases, 207 are females and 135 are males.
A total of 67 Wood County residents are currently hospitalized for the virus.
