The Wood County Health Department will be closed to the public on Wednesday, Oct. 25, for a professional development day.
The staff training day will cause the Wood County Health Department, the Wood County Community Health Center and Wood County WIC office buildings to be closed. Public health personnel will be unavailable for office meetings, phone conversations and emails.
The offices will reopen for business as usual on Thursday, Oct. 26.
