Don’t miss the biggest event of the year for The Wood County Humane Society (WCHS). The organization is gearing up to host its annual Reverse Raffle on Friday, Nov. 1, from 6:30 to 10 p.m., at Stone Ridge Golf Club, 945 S. Mitchell Road, Bowling Green.
WCHS Board President, Heath A. Diehl states, “We are excited to return to and overhaul the Reverse Raffle this year after a one-year hiatus. We have planned a fun evening of games, delicious food, and community for our guests and we hope that the community comes out to support the dogs and cats of Wood County Humane Society.”
The event highlights are a payout with $2,500 in total prizes, sit-down dinner, Taste of Wood County Dessert Table, and multiple casino style games such as Wine Pull, Lottery Tree, and 50/50 raffle.
Tickets are $100 each which includes one dinner and one reverse raffle entry.
This year Q105.5’s The Morning Reboot hosts Eric Chase and Floyd Anderson will be emceeing the raffle.
WCHS is currently seeking sponsors for the event. There are four tiers of sponsorships from which individuals or businesses can choose, including Bronze $100, Silver $250, Gold $500, Platinum $1,000 or higher. Each level of sponsorship comes with specific rewards for the sponsor. For example, Platinum sponsors will receive company recognition and a link on WCHS social media pages, acknowledgement during the event welcome speech, opportunity to display company banner at the event, and two complimentary dinner tickets with reserved seating. Platinum sponsors will also have their company name and logo in the event slideshow, at the welcome area, and included on the event table tents which are highly visible at every table.
The WCHS, located in Bowling Green, Ohio, is a private, non-profit, managed admission shelter providing care for homeless and abused pets and investigating cruelty complaints in Wood County. The organization receives no funding from national humane organizations, instead relying on earned revenue and the generosity of individual donors and businesses to fund our programs such as Safe Haven and food assistance programs, spay/neuter transport, and educational presentations.
The WCHS provides care for over 1,000 animals each year—from dogs and cats, to horses, goats, and pocket pets.
